    Today in class we learned about arguments. An argument is an opinion supported by evidence. The three elements of an argument are the speaker, the purpose, and the audience. We also learned about process of elimination using "fences" character summaries.

      My name is Troy Maxson, and I'm garbage man. Since working in the trash industry, my sense of smell has become my least favorite for what I assume to be obvious reasons. Trash collecting definitely wasn't my ideal line of work, but it's what keeps the bills paid and the family fed. As a black man in America with a record, and a lackluster education what other options do I have? I wanted to be one of those baseball players, I was really good at it too. Nowadays, the only throwing I do is the garbage into the truck.
